Acier Rive-Nord Inc was founded in 1995, by Pierre and Richard Laplante.

It started up in a mere 1200 squarre feet local. With a modest inventory and limited equipement, it managed to build up, in a short while, a clientele which allowed it to relocate in a 3300 square feet building.

Proud of this achivement, Acier Rive-Nord surrounded itself with the most qualified personnel in the field of metals and plastics.

The ever growing list of customers and again, the lack of space sparked up the idea of owning it’s own building. This ambitious project came to life in feburary 1999.

Considered as phase 1 of it’s longterm growth program this 10000 square feet facility allowed Acier Rive-Nord to increase and broaden it’s inventory, more products, more customers and more challenges to be met.

Four years later, in 2003, Acier Rive-Nord had to go to phase II, which called for an additional 10000 square feet and, this is where AcierRive-Nord is presently.

Acier Rive-Nord employs more than 45 people having only one common goal, to serve it’s customers in the most professional way.
